Absolutely horrible person. When i went to him with a partial meniscus root tear he made me feel as though I was less than him, and said I was not a candidate for surgery. At first I thought it was due to my insurance however after getting a second opinion (with surgery) I realized it's only because he was incapable of doing the surgery. His bedside manor leaves much to be desired. I wouldn't recommend him to my worst enemy.
Dr. Dunlay introduced himself immediately upon entering the exam room even though he had treated me several years earlier and recognized me. He proceeded to ask me the reason for my visit and listened to my description intently and patiently. Dr. Dunlay then described his recommends. A soon as we agreed on a course of action he proceeded in a timely manner to treat me and I was able to leave the exam room. My entire visit was efficient, timely and pleasant.
Dr. Dunlay is very personable willing to answer questions. I am glad he will be my surgeon.
Dr. Dunlay and his team were amazing with my son during this difficult time. Dr. Dunlay patiently explained details of his surgery and recovery. He answered every question with clarity and in a way that we would understand. His staff was supportive, efficient, and kind. This has been a very trying 10 months from injury to recovery. We are so blessed to have such a skilled surgeon and team i the QC area. Thank you, Dr. Dunlay.

Dr Dunlay did 3 total reverse shoulder replacement surgeries on my left shoulder, within a period of about 2 years. The first surgerey failed, the second surgery failed, and he told me after the third surgery that I woud have very limited movement. After the last surgery, I was in constant pain and had no mobility in the shoulder. I was encouraged to seek a second opinion. Was seen on time and grateful that my appt was in Clinton so I did not have to drive to Bettendorf. Staff was professional and courteous. Dr Dunlay is extremely efficient and receptive to questions.
Maybe he was having a bad day as other reviews report a different experience, but Ryan seemed to be bothered by any questions I had and just generally to be uninterested in me as a patient. I hurt myself in a knee and hip on alternate legs as well as a shoulder in a skiing accident and he seemed annoyed that I had more than one concern to work on.
