We thought it was WAY overpriced, and the 4 of us all ordered or steaks medium..and they were all rare..as rare can be. They also brought our salads out before our appetizer, and felt "rushed", because we knew our entres were started.. 1st time there, and a bit disappointed. probably won't go back. nice decor and wait staff however.
Absolutely the best. My absolute favorite restaurant.
My Porterhouse steak was awesome! The tenderness was unbelievable. The Garlic Mashed Potatoes & Grilled Asparagus were very good as well. The wait staff were very considerate & nice. I was served a "Desert" sampler when they heard it was my birthday. A "Thank you" to my children for a great time.
Every year on my birthday 12-31 my gamma an I celebrate our birthdays together with family at Ruth Chris's steak house in walnut creek, my gramma was born on 12-31 too
Wonderful! Amazing food and wait staff. Pricey but worth it. I try to go often but can't afford it!
It was awful. I ordered a medium rare petite ribeye, they brought me a rare filet. It was grey in color, no real sear or grilling marks, almost as if it was boiled. I sent that back, and they then brought me a super well done charcoal briquette ribeye, almost as if they tried to rush it to the point they just cooked it with such high heat it just killed it.
The reason I gave it two stars, I made reservations for 8pm within two weeks to going.I arrived there 15 minutes early, I was told we would get seated at 8, 8:10 not seated, 8:30 checked on seating, was told there was five tables eating their desert and a table should be clear, 8:40 still not seated. Left went across the street to The Cheesecake factory, got seated within 10 min. Will not EVER give RUTH CHRIS my money!!!!

AMAZING EXPERIENCE! Excellent food. EVERYTHING was spectacular. The food and the service. The waiter was personable and very friendly. I can't tell you how delicious the food is because you have to experience this for yourself. Great treat for yourself or someone special.
