Had a lovely dinner and drinks with some friends last night for happy hour. We arrived early, about 4:30 when they were due to open. We went upstairs to sit in the bar in one on their booths. I believe they had about 6 booths or so. It was very nice and private and surprisingly not crowded or too loud. One thing we all noticed was how very dark it was at our table, too dark. Steak sandwich was tender. Fried crab 🦀 balls were delicious. Happy Hour Servers were prompt to serve drinks, but slow-motion to take care of food orders customers.
I was very disappointed in the overall experience. I’ve gotten a better steak from Safeway and grilled it myself. I ordered a wedge salad and I received 4 Romain leaves. I had to send my steak back because they forgot to cook it, seared on the outside and raw on the inside. Service was mediocre at best. I will never go there again, they are all hype and no substance!
