Only thing that was boring was mashed potatoes ,plan nothing on them ,needed some gravy or topping
Went to Ruth Chris in the Galleria last night with a 5pm reservation. We arrived at 4:45pm and checked in. There were no seats available inside the restaurant or bar area (at 4:45pm) for us to wait. My father is 90 years young. We figured we'd order a cocktail and wait. So I walked over to the bar area where I felt like I was in the way. So the hostesses showed us the entrance patio area where we could wait. After We had to walk over 250 yards just to get to the front doors after parking, No Valet??? Had an excellent dinner! This is one of our favorite restaurants. Had a great server named DeeAnn, we will definitely go as often as we can.

Excellent service by Jason and staff. I ordered the ribeye steak medium rare. Jason touted that the steaks came out on a 500 degree hot plate. Problem is that after a little while the steak went from medium rare to medium well due to the continued cooking on the very hot plate. Next time I know to order rare so it will end up no worse than medium rare. All other side dishes were excellent including creamed spinach, mushrooms,baked potatoes and Caesar salad. Also very nice wine list.
