Celebrated my birthday at Ruth Chris after dinning at High Steaks on the previous evening. They are both 5 star however i prefer Ruth Chris. The food and service are comparable but I would give the edge to Ruth Chris.
RecommendedI went for a murder mystery dinner. The food was great and the murder mystery was awesome. Reggie(hopefully that was the right name) was a great server. Thank Ruth Chris for a great night out.
The service was amazing as usual. We both had the New York Strip and I don't know, they kinda tasted weird tonight. We've always had a great experience with the Steak though so maybe tonight was just an off night. The Sweet Potato Pie TO DIE FOR! Seriously cannot beat that stuff �
Food was very good. But service was too slow. Wasn't the waitress but the kitchen. We were there for over 2 hours. No problems with the food, nice & hot but way too long in between. At the end we couldn't wait to get out of there. Took our our dessert to go.
The food was amazing, however, we had not been to this location prior so the address given by the restaurant reservation had us circling around. I was disappointed when I returned home to find the person that packed my food had flipped it the wrong way and sauce ran all over the place. Thank goodness it was in a plastic bag but still.... our meal was close to $300 and was tipped appropriately.... common guys!
All of our food was outstanding but Service is far better at Hawks.
The hostess was horrible. You could tell she really didn't want to be bothered. The whole reserved seating at the bar for happy hour was odd when hostess rudely informed us that we needed to get out our own drink at the bar and wait in the hot outside area for our reserved table. The bartenders were too busy to serve you a drink even though they weren't. Bartenders and hostess staff needs some serious coaching how to be pleasant and helpful. Very good food and service. Kinda of inconvenient having to make reservations also to be able to sit at the bar for a drink while waiting to be seated for your dinner reservation time. Need to throw an air conditioner and heater in the side area for additional bar seating! We had to sit in a little room until our table was ready....not very cool.
The only thing that could've improved was the service. Very nice waiter, but would tell us he'd be back shortly with drinks & would take over 30 minutes. Waited 45 min for our food. BUT the manager was extremely apologetic & accommodating. The food was delicious once it arrived.
