We were there last night when the storm hit. August 18, 2018. We were there for our Anniversary. We did order a drink hoping the lights would return but were not told we had to pay cash ONLY. The waiter said our 2 drinks were $21.65 and he couldn’t make change either. So I was forced to give him $25.00 and he says “Wow, thank you”. We were furious. Great old school steak house. But a little put off by the "old boys club photos" at the Baton Rouge local. Come on guys. Ruth Ann Udstad Fertel Is the WOMAN who made this restaurant. She is rolling in her grave. Ellen DeGeneres. Reese Witherspooon. Britney Spears. Anne Rice. Clementine Hunter. And Mahaila Jackson are as well. All strong Louisiana born women. Steel Magnolias. Can we move into the 21st century? Please. ⚜️
