My wife and I celebrated our Anniversary here. Jordan was fantastic. He let us know his recommendations and was spot on. The Pork Chop was huge, my wife enjoyed the scallops. The atmosphere was perfect. The staff was really friendly. We were celebrating 29 years of marriage, I let the staff know this when I called for the reservation. The whole team was fantastic. Made the night special for us. Thank you Jordan for a great dining experience!
the service was great! The food was delicious. We loved our "eggs aren't just for breakfast anymore" drinks and the view with the retractable roof was great for the setting sun and evening lights! Definitely a place we'll revisit next time were in San Diego!
Rustic Root never fails to please my taste buds as well as providing such a fun atmosphere! Both down stairs and the roof are worth checking out, trust me you won't regret it :)
Eh.. nothing like being walked past by the bartender when you're waving to get her attention.. but then again, I'm not 22 pretending to be a millionaire throwing away money to impress some girl at the next table � Maybe I value owning a home more important than a $12 drink for myself and the table next to me?! Or I'm not 22 yrs old... � So I guess I would have expected better service on a Sunday night when there are only 5 people sitting at the bar to watch a football game. Stopped by for brunch with some friends; and I must say brunch far exceeded my expectations. Already knew the cocktails were excellently crafted from previous visits, but the food was truly outstanding! I had the Baja scramble; definitely on point; well-executed with complementary flavors. Way bigger portion size than I expected, too. I highly recommend Rustic Root for brunch!
