My husband and I visited the Rustic Root this past weekend for brunch with a group of our friends. We had the BEST time. The food was excellent, the service was great and we loved their mimosa/champagne cart. We will be back on our next visit to San Diego!
Super fun and nice place! Great staff friendly and professional! Good crowd, good food, great music and atmosphere but conversations still possible. Better than a bar or a club, best of both worlds! Favorite spot in SD.
Sucks I they did not allow me to enter because I had my Mexican drivers license. Apparently their policy is if you are not from the US, you must have a passport for identification. I felt discriminated against because I am Mexican. But this isn't right because I live in USA, I am married to an American, I am old enough to go into a bar, and there is no reason I should not be able to enjoy the place like everyone else. It's 2016, really, who has this kind of policy!?!?
