RecommendedI went to rusted Moon outfitters as a last ditch effort to find a kayak for the summer during the hard times of COVID-19 supply scarcities. Luckily I found two great kayaks but they only had one paddle. Ron was extremely helpful and friendly and threw in one of their extra paddles just because he could tell I wanted to get out kayaking this weekend with my wife. Bought my grandson and I “Merrell Moab 2 Vents” from Jake recently, then promptly took them to...ironically enough...Moab! We spent 7 days wandering the National Parks of eastern Utah, and the Rocky Mountain National Forests of Colorado, averaging 10+ miles a day. The Merrill’s were as perfect as the scenery! My husband and I had a fantastic experience at Rusted Moon Outfitters. Every single employee was helpful and kind, and Ron took the time to make sure we found the perfect kayak for each of us and what we intended to use them for. After showing me (the newbie) some kayaking technique, they took the time to help us install our carrier and showed us the best and safest way to load and strap our kayaks. We will definitely be return customers!

I recently bought a pair of Blundstone boots from RMO. They took a few days to come in and the fit was wrong for my foot. Their staff worked with me to find the right fit and I walked out a happy customer. We’ve become so accustomed to using online shopping that we forget about the benefit of interacting with people. Had I ordered online I would have returned the boots and been done. Instead I had a conversation with an informed employee and walked out of the store with a grin. Win win situation. Where to start. First the Employees are very nice and super knowledgeable about the products they carry which are all top of the line. Their integrity is unsurpassed by any of their competitors which is one big reason I gladly and willingly drive 2 hours just to visit their store. It’s 2019 and in a world of big box stores and the internet I still choose to go where I’m greeted with a sincere smile and knowledgeable employees.
