Dark, cozy, elegant and intimate, Russian Tea Time has only been here since 1993, however it has since become a Chicago treasure. Inside the elegant Mahogany and Birch dining room, the kitchen serves specialties from the former Soviet republics which includes every where from Tajikistan to Belarus. This was my first time here on a second date. It is one of my dates favorite restaurants in the city and now mine! The food was delicious, service was impeccable and the ambiance PERFECT!!!

Authentic, excellent waiter, superb food, variety of choices, good atmosphere. Second visit within the last few years, would have rated the same at that time.
