My MD sent a referral to cournoyer bc of a bad bunion on my foot. It was causing great pain. I went to him, he pretty much told me I was over reacting, it didn’t look too bad. I told him I’m on my feet all day for work. He told me to wear these soft felt pads and to go home. I told him I couldn’t bc my feet get wet and they’ll be destroyed. Said I would figure it out if I was in pain
Pretty awful experience, I would recommend seeking podiatry care elsewhere. A bit of traumatic experience was had during a recent consult- and unfortunately the spirit of misogyny was on full display- after describing excruciating foot, and what seems like nerve pain, Dr. Conoyer, actually said out loud, “You are definitely over reacting”. Reckless. Unprofessional.
