My sales consultant Bob Rickelmann was exceedingly helpful in my purchase of my RX-8. He promptly met me at the door, arranged an immediate test drive, took me thru the particulars of the car. Worked up a fair sales price and arranged a shuttle so I could take same day delivery of the car. The next week he followed up with notification that the options I wanted installed were available. Melvin was one of the most knowledgable car salesmen I've encountered. He was very knowledgable of the mechanical and engineering features of the car, and explained them well. He was also not a high pressure salesman.
The manager (David) was very professional and helpful.
This is my second car I have purchased at Russel. Both times we pleasant. This time the customer service and everyone involved in the process were great.
Avoid car service – I've taken my car to their mechanics 3 times in the past year and a half. While they might be nice to you inside, and with a big smile explain to you what's wrong with your car DON'T TRUST 1 WORD FROM THEM. They love replacing parts that don't need to be replaced just to bill you for additional hours. They will charge you an hour of labor for a part even if it took them 10 minutes to install.
