We eat here a couple of times a month. Our kids make fun of us but you can't beat the home style cooking and low prices. The squash is their best side. Sometimes I get 2 orders of it. So delicious! I will admit that there have been a few tea when everything isn't perfect, but all in all, it keeps us coming back. I also appreciate that they are one of the few businesses in Grand Rapids that closes on Sunday for a day of rest.
Love that Poppyseed chicken salad! Excellent service with Joanna. The hostess was great at cleaning tables for new customers.
We always use the computer in the booth and the service is good to and they are very friendly.
My husband hates going there but my mom loves it so I took her out for lunch today as an early mother's day and the food was horrible, service was bad, slow and obviously at this place they do not care about their customer satisfaction because their customer service skills are awful. I was told it was our fault to not ask for something (I would assume paying $7 for a sandwich would come with fries but you have to ask and it costs extra) but we ask to get some they charged us for a platter and we didn't even get half of the p... read more
Very bad service ! Took my mom for breakfast for the first time and will not go again!
Soup and salad bar side of the restaurant closed on a Saturday night. Disappointing.

This place has become a joke the wait staff suck!
Since they remodeled they do not have enough seating and the lobby is ridiculously small with not enough seating. They went downhill since then.
