A little ways outside Charlotte in the city of Huntersville sits Rural Hill, a 265 acre homestead with pastoral views and farm animals to enjoy. The farm has historical significance for the Scots and and Scots-Irish, which makes it a prime location for the annual Scottish Highland Games Festival. This is a beautiful place to escape the city life of Charlotte.

We love events here. Great location. Lots of room.
First time attending the NCBMF! We will definitely be back next year!
We were there yesterday 5/13/17 for the NC music and Brewer's festival and in one word AMAZING! The parking attendants were a little unorganized at first but quickly figured it out and got us parked quickly. The vendors were all great and well placed around the facility. Lots of clean bathroom facilities which were very much appreciated! Can't wait for our next visit to Rural Hill!
Lovely venue with helpful staff and volunteers! You also thoughtfully provided perfect weather! ;-)
Rural Hill is fab for highland games. Could use more vendors, so I hope they are keeping fees low enough to attract new ones. We travel sometimes up to 900 miles to make it each year.
I had a great time at Rural Hill despite the rain. The food and the company was wonderful. I am looking forward to my next chance to go out and enjoy the farm.
We went to the sheepdog trials. This was our first time there, it was fun.
Not exactly the most handicap accessible place, but not everywhere can be. It's a beautiful property!
6th year doing the corn maze. We have done it every year since my son was born and he loves it. Even when the corn isn't high, as we can't control the weather, he still gets super excited when he finds a mailbox and map piece. Also love the Food Truck Festivals and Warrior Dash events that are hosted here.
Rural Hill has a 4.5 star rating with 687 reviews.
Rural Hill is open now. It will close at 6:00 p.m.
