Was able to get my son - a high school track and cross country runner - to the store store in Norfolk this afternoon and I was impressed! Drew helped us and was so knowledgeable and helpful. The whole process they take you through to get the right shoe and the right fit is wonderful. Also - a couple of workers were kind enough to answer a few questions that I had about running shoes and some issues that I have been having running. I would strongly encourage any runner to stop in and you will be impressed.
Spent a good while chatting with Mike, the Owner of Running etc. at the VA Beach location. He's clearly a VERY passionate person who knows the running shoe business quite well. After a pleasant 30min or so I left feeling good about my purchase. Anyone in the Hampton Roads area who runs owe it to themselves to go to one of the locations and let them fit you for running shoes. 100% recommended! Best of all- I paid less than the online price!

My dad took me to Running Etc. when I became serious about running many years ago. Today I was able to share the experience with my teenage son. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. Our shoe guru was knowledgeable, helpful, and took his time with Tanner to ensure he found the right shoe for him. Every step he took to find that perfect fit and comfort was above and beyond. We won't visit another store after this. It's not just about the shoes, it's the complete experience! I'm happy to recommend Running Etc.
