Run Safely and in Style Running Etc. is a wonderful little shop in downtown Norfolk. The store specializes in running shoes, running spikes, and other running gear that might be necessary. The employees are all avid runners and can tell in seconds if a shoe fits right or not (a huge help when you run a lot!). Obviously the prices are high, but that is what you would expect with high performance running shoes and clothing products. I have never gotten a shoe I didn't love from this store.
For any runner big or small Running Etc. is the best running store I know of and the only place I buy my running shoes. I entered into a 5k race a few years back and Running Etc. sponsored it and I have been shopping there ever since. A lot of big sports stores sell running shoes but they do not have a staff that knows as much about what is good for your feet as the staff at Running Etc. do. Need some good running shoes? Check out Running Etc. These folks are awesome. Everyone there is very knowledgeable with everything running. I don’t run and they set me up with a pair of shoes that fit what I was looking for. They keep track of your past purchases so they know what your looking for when you come in. And always great to talk shop while you’re there. Shop local and support these guys. Only place I get my running shoes.

Not just a running store since once you’re a customer you’re family! They work hard to make sure you’re fit perfectly with running/walking shoes. Tons of up to date clothing too, along with all the sports nutrition and gadgetry you need/want!

Had a virtual fitting yesterday with Mark and it was awesome! We talked about my running form, several different shoes that match my foot size/shape, and he even gave me some tips to help with some soreness I’ve been having. Ended up getting the Brooks Ghost 12s and I am PUMPED! Thanks to Mark and the entire Running Etc. team!
