Ruiz-Best Best Best! – I LOVE Ruiz Maragaritas! They are the best in town hands down!! The staff is always so friendly and helpful. Their rewards program makes our family feel special and appreciated. The food is great, and needless to say, we cant go too long without having our Ruiz fix!!!

Excellent Mexican food!!! – We were visiting from Los Angeles and wanted to eat some mexican food and we were so delighted to find Ruiz's. The food was outstanding and we voiced our pleasure to the server saying that the food rivaled the mexican food we were use to in Los Angeles. We would definetly eat there again. The one weak point was that we ordered a pitcher of margartita's and needless to say it was a little weak on the tequila. Other than that it was excellent and we would recommend it to anyone. Enjoy.

Raised on Authentic Mexican Food at Ruiz – My family has been going to Ruiz since the 70's (before I was even born). If you want real-authentic Mexican food there is no other place than Ruiz. I was fortunate to have been raised on real Mexican food, not like "today's Mexican"...Their menu has expanded and includes a children's menu. Awesome – Ruiz rocks! i highly reccommend it.. everything there is great.. i love there cheese enchiladas and burrito melt.. and gotta love the margaritas...

RUIZ' IS QUALITY – 95% of all restaurants fail within their first year of business. For a restaurant to thrive for 37 years is a testament to the quality of the product that they serve to the public and the quality of the food at Ruiz' has always been top-notch.

Don't Be Fooled – St. Louis' oldest Mexican restaurant is nothing more than classic Tex Mex. Bland, uneventful, and boring flavors bring out the worst in their menu. On the other hand, the service was excellent, but even a smiling, friendly wait staff can't boost Ruiz. They should change their slogan to "St. Louis' oldest Tex Mex restaurant," because they don't deserve to label themselves authentic Mexican.

home away from home – I have eaten at Ruiz since I was about 10 and now I am almost 50. I now live about 1000 miles away but whenever I come home I always make a stop at Ruiz. I have lived in and visited many cities in the US and always compare my Mexican experience to Ruiz and I have yet to find one that makes me feel as if I have gone home again.

Easily The Best – This is by far the best Mexican Restaurant I have been in St. Louis. Number 1... I had heard that it was very good and open and was told it was easily #1 in St. Louis. So I decided to check it out myself. I was amazed, you are greated by a host right when you enter and are quickly seated. I would strongly recommend making a reservation beccause they get packed quick. The food is authentic and the restaurant is owned by Marissa and Doug Marshall. Marissa is Jose Ruiz daughter. A+ Restaurant!
