Rufus Tree service charged a woman on social security disability \$400.00to remove vines from her rear patio fence. This is a very tiny townhouse on the 9000 block of Kempwood Drive in Spring Branch. The vines were on one side. The patio has about 10 by 12 feet of unpaved ground and a twelve by eight foot long wall. He quoted her the price and she agreed but taking advantage of anyone to this degree is very wrong.. What more can I say.

I had 3 bids to remove a large tree that was too close to the house and grind the stump, and Rufus Tree Service was by far the cheapest. (One bid was 30% higher and the other more than double.) I feared that, since usually you get what you pay for, I would be disappointed with their job, but in fact I was very impressed! They were prompt, efficient, did a very good job and throughly cleaned up. They even spread some of the wood chips on a neighboring flower bed for me!
