Can the carrier be worn in the front? Are the straps padded. There are several comments about unpadded straps and I am afraid these will injury my dog's skin. Do all carriers have padded straps?

I received the product quickly but as other reviewers mentioned, I didn't receive the one with the padded side dog straps as per their website. I am waiting for a response from the company. For the cost, I would have expected exactly what was shown on the website.
