Brought my 06 STi in for overheating...I was sent home with a simple coolant flush ($150) that didn't solve the problem, brought the car back in and was told the radiator needed replacing and it was replaced ($800) and had to fight with the service advisor about not paying for the 2nd coolant flush. Had they tried a bit harder the first time, they would have caught the radiator problem...they aren't unrelated issues. Come on, White Bear Subaru! After years of taking my car here for service comes a 75,000 mile service. No big deal. Oil, filter, transmission fluid, and both differentials. When I get the car back what's that? Oh, a nice new scratch, nice and deep, all the way to bare metal. I notice when I get to work, call them, and bring it back. They touch it up, which is nice but isn't anywhere close to how I gave it to them. Now at least the scratch is white instead of metal. Fast forward 6 days. 5 stars for their service department. Last year, I Went in for a recall and they fixed the O2 sensor which was on the fritz, no charge. Today, I Needed a head-gasket replacement and they helped me work with Subaru Corp to help reduce the cost....and it was done under-budget and on time! Thank you!
I worked with Art Stanko in purchasing my 2015 Forester and it was a straight forward process with no surprises or big obstacles. I originally thought I would only test drive the vehicle but discovered that I liked it and wanted to purchase it that day. He and the team at White Bear Acura accomplished the deal in short order. I wanted a hitch and treatment added, so I did not drive it home, but it was ready a couple of days later. Over all a very good experience and i am enjoying my new Forester
