he has limited to no care for patients. He doesn’t explain medication. He’s extremely transactional. He only cares about the money. He should retire.

Dr Ruderman took me on after my prior Psychiatrist retired. He understood where I was coming from with Major Depressive Disorder and diagnosed me having General Anxiety Disorder later on in our relationship. He modified my medications very early on and it was a big success. Given that my life improved after our initial visits and continued on over several years I whole heartedly recommend Dr Ruderman. He is professional, very easy to talk with and his office staff is to be commended.

He has no empathy whatsoever. I don't know why he chose a profession in which he has to work with people.

I have been seeing this horrible Dr. for over a year for extreme GAD, which I have been suffering from since 2006 and now I am 50 years old. I have been prescribed Klonopin, 2 mg per day (.5mg 4x daily with no increase EVER). I have been on Klonopin for over 12 years. I asked for 3 mg daily today due to extreme stress from my Extreme spinal pain and knees and job, he refused, trying to make me take SSRI's, which I have in the past and they do not work for anxiety. He refused. STAY AWAY!!!!!

Dr. Ruderman helped me through a very difficult time of severe sleep deprivation. I couldn't sleep because of a variety of strange ear problems including loud ringing (tinnitus), strange popping sounds, and a sensation of pressure in my ears. Dr. Ruderman worked with my ENT to find the right medicine to reduce my anxiety and relieve most of the symptoms. I am grateful that he helped me through a very desperate time. He's a kind and gentle man, and I would highly recommend him.

During the worst time of my life I sought help from Dr. Ruderman. He is horrible! He never made eye contact, raced through the appointment, is rude and just seemed to want my money. He even billed me weeks later for $6.00 that he thought I owed him. I still don't know what happened or why I experienced a brief psychosis but thankfully I fully recovered on my own and am living a very successful life in New York. I strongly recommend that you seek care elsewhere.
