Old school Austin comfort food for your soul. A perennial whose brisket is criminally underrated as is everything else on the menu. As the years go by and the clock keeps ticking Ruby's just gets better and better. Love ya Ruby's!

Consistently my favorite BBQ joint in town. No hype, no lines! Friendly, quick service. Personal favorites include the BEST crawfish etouffe I've had anywhere and a dark and dirty gumbo ...I have trouble deciding which I will get to go with my usual order of ribs and sausage with a creamy coleslaw chaser. Beer and cobbler round out the experience if you've left room!
