The executive sous chef Stephani Hurn was phenomenal! The food melted in our mouth and we couldn’t have enjoyed a better dinner. You can truly tell how much they take their time with the food and provide the most mouthwatering food. The ambiance is inviting, warm, and easy to enjoy conversation. ROYS used to be my favorite restaurant. It was always crowded and fun. Service and food were great; prices were decent. In the last few years , the prices have gone up while the quality and selection have gone down. In La Jolla we were served rubbery jumbo shrimp and we waited more than 25 minutes for a simple dessert to be served. (A piece of cheesecake, not one of their 20 minute desserts).
