Built as a Spanish Colonial style mansion for a wealthy New York financier, at the base of Camelback Mountain, it was several years before this beautiful building, became the Royal Palms Resort. With old-style bathroom fixtures, ornate interiors and top class facilities, this is a favorite among the rich and the famous who come to Phoenix. With the contemporary restaurant, T. Cook's and theAlvadora Spa, you will be hard pressed to find a more relaxing hotel in town.

We are staying here for the night celebrating our 30th Anniversary . Staying here has always been on my bucket list. So far it has been amazing ! From check in to our wonderful dinner with a great waiter , to our beautiful rose petal turn down , and our surprise knock on the door with some champagne and chocolate covered strawberries , everything has been amazing . The rooms are beautiful . I can't say enough. It had been one of the best places we have ever stayed to celebrate our Anniversary .
