Royal India is considered to be the best Indian restaurant in the whole of downtown San Diego. The cuisine served here is mainly North Indian, blending in unique flavors of all the Indian spices to create magic on your plate. The tandoori kebabs, curries like Channa Masala and Makhanwala, nan bread and the seafood, all are simply amazing. Royal India has a wonderful 10 foot waterfall right in the center which perfectly suits the distinctly Indian decor.

An excellent blend of spices and textures. The sweet mango lassi was refreshing and not too sugary. Everything we ordered was delicious.
Royal India Restaurants are definitely the most enjoyable ones for their Indian cuisine and fine dining in San Diego. I tried their Biryani and butter chicken, and I keep coming back every time I visited this place. They also serve halal dishes. A-Grade!
