Royal India is considered to be the best Indian restaurant in the whole of downtown San Diego. The cuisine served here is mainly North Indian, blending in unique flavors of all the Indian spices to create magic on your plate. The tandoori kebabs, curries like Channa Masala and Makhanwala, nan bread and the seafood, all are simply amazing. Royal India has a wonderful 10 foot waterfall right in the center which perfectly suits the distinctly Indian decor.

This is the real deal, folks. Really fabulous food...authentic and delicious. And the service is stellar. Richah (sp) is a delightful server, as were all who lavished attention on us to be sure all was well. No negatives here (if there were, I'd call them out)! I wholeheartedly and without reservation recommend this lovely restaurant. I can't wait to go back!
