Royal India is considered to be the best Indian restaurant in the whole of downtown San Diego. The cuisine served here is mainly North Indian, blending in unique flavors of all the Indian spices to create magic on your plate. The tandoori kebabs, curries like Channa Masala and Makhanwala, nan bread and the seafood, all are simply amazing. Royal India has a wonderful 10 foot waterfall right in the center which perfectly suits the distinctly Indian decor.

Great original place to dinner real indian food. The service is good and taste the lamb with spicy curry.
This is my favorite place for Indian food. The restaurant is absolutely gorgeous and has some of the friendliest staff I've ever seen. My suggestion is that you try the lamb shank. It is Juicy flavorful and tender. You will have enough to take a little home for tomorrow's lunch. It's one of the best I've ever tasted.
