I will never purchase with Royal again! My husband and I have purchased many pieces of furniture from Royal (this location to be exact) and we've never had a problem until we moved to Miississippi. The horrible incident I am speaking of is when we purchased the extended warranty included in the purchase of this God forsaken warranty was: a couch, love seat, coffee table, end table and full dining room table with six chairs. I purchased a sectional with a separate recliner on July 21, 2018, everything was delivered on time, but after delivery I noticed I was not able to let the foot rest down on the recliner, I notified Royal Furniture and was told someone would be out on 8/2/18, no one showed. 8/3/18 I called royal warehouse spoke to Mary and also Paula who stated they did not see a repair order for me. Royal furniture damaged our floors, offered to pay us for damages, then backed out and refused to pay, they then lied saying they notified us but they never did return our phone calls. I dont know how this business has an A+ rating on bbb cause they never resolve any customer complaints to satisfaction and they lie about what they did or did not do for the customer. I don't think I'll ever do business with this company again. I actually thought I was getting a good deal because they were significantly cheaper than every other company I was looking at, and I didn't have a lot of money to spend on furniture. I have very good and loyal to this company every since I walked foot in the store here in Nashville. Today that changed and I do not recommend this company to anyone. I received a letter today stating that my check was returned. I immediately called my bank because I knew that the payment was made. The bank confirmed the payment so I called the customer service. Hello, I purchased a console, sofa table from your Hoover, Alabama location. I paid someone to pick the table up because my car was too small. Once home, my husband assembled the table, and realized that there was no glass in the box.
