Really wish I had come to this spot before purchasing furniture AND an extended warranty from Royal in September 2018. We purchased a sofa and two recliners. We are NOT hard on furniture, in fact I'm pretty strict on how furniture is handled in our home. We are a family of only THREE, that's it. Two adults and one mature child. The warranty contract specifies that built-up wear & tear over time is not covered, including but not limited to fading at contact points while seated. I have been told I was set up for delivery for almost 3 weeks and still no delivery. I was in Royal on March 23rd and its now April 9th. I have called several times just to get put on hold, hung up on and number taken with no return call. They keep saying they need to verify my income but i've sent in 6 documents as proof. I requested a refund but nothing. I will have to make another visit this weekend which is ridiculous AND begin looking for new furniture. If I could post zero stars, I would!! Due to my age, my physicality, and the "Pandemic", I chose to purchase, not 1 but 2 chairs from Royal Furniture, Trussville, AL, from the internet. I called my self researching and I spoke to a sales rep several time. In the description of what I needed/wanted, I DID mention to him that I required an extra wide power recliner so there would be room for "myself and my pet." PAY ATTN TO THAT LINE!!. Horrible experience, awful customer service, inept systems. I don't do reviews but this place BUYER BEWARE! Bought a bedroom suite & dining room set. Upon delivery day, 4 chairs broke. They replaced it with a second bench and 2 chairs that didn't match, oh yeah the bench they replaced it with lasted 3 days before it came apart. Granted they finally replaced that bench. Trash company with a joke of a management team. Furniture arrived damaged, took them 7 weeks to get out new furniture despite the fact it was sitting on their showroom floor. Store Manager was extremely unprofessional, rude, and clearly has no customer service skills. Salesman was a joke. DO NOT SHOP HERE!

Delivery guys damaged my dining table when they brought it on 10/1/2020 and one chair has no levelers in 2 of the legs but said they would replace them.. It is now almost 1 1/2 months later and I still do not have replacements and have called several times to find out the status, since they do not contact me. I will never buy there again.

Horrible services! The manager in the corporate office Michelle is very unprofessional and thinks she is the owner and that she is the last word for Royal and acts very nasty about it!! I have not been able to simply get information on my warranty inspection results because of her ego!! She does not need that position and is making the company look bad and lose customers with her careless attitude towards customers!! Horrible!!! Just HORRIBLE!!!

Very unprofessional and unorganized I understand that COVID 19 may have placed some challange on things but I place an order in the beginning of April for my son a bedroom set it is now July 9 and I still have not received furniture. Delivery time was estimated to be 4-6 weeks. I would never recommend them, or shop here again don't waste your time everything they have you can find else where it's not worth the hassle! I am a customer of Royal Furniture right now. This is my third time buying furniture from them. My first accounts I paid off early, this time I have had some hardships so I have missed 1-2 off and on payments yet still paying on my account. Little did I know that Royal was still reporting me as being late every month. When I look on my credit report, it is as if I am late every month, not so, these are late fees that they report as late payment ($25-30). Good or bad credit they give everyone a 24% interest rate.
