Love this office. Fantastic dentist and the kindest staff.
I've been a patient of Dr. Akbar's for almost 10 years. Dr. Akbar is extremely competent, and we share a great doctor/patient relationship. She is proactive and has protected me from unnecessary pain and suffering. I would highly recommend both Dr. Akbar and her staff -- they are 1st Class!
I discovered I need some extra dental work. Everyone from Dr. Ashish Kakadia to Crystal to Annette were very helpful in explaining the upcoming procedure. Even to the fact I'm a real chicken for mouth pain so they have a plan to help me not suffer. I've been a loyal patient of Dr. Akbar for 15 years and even though my husband (also a patient) and I have moved an hour away we still drive to Dr. Akbar for our dental care.
Dr. Akbar was professionally welcoming, fully informative and warmly personable. Just the kind of dentist one would want to have and service one would wish to receive. Her staff deserve a thumps up as well.
Unfortunately my child's visit was absolutely awful, we waited 2 hours for the proceedure to begin and when it did my child was crying, yelling and trembling with pain. I was told by a red haired assistant that he wasn't properly numb when they began! The technician who originally helped my child whispered everything which was incredibly frustrating because I simply could not hear a word she said, the Dr herself moved on to another patient while my son cried in the next cubicle. Gentle, knowledgeable and caring. I definitely made the right choice with doctor Akbar and my smile has never looked so good. I'm very satisfied.
Dr. Akbar is a wonderful dentist, so gentle and caring, they whole staff made me feel like I was the only person there, I will be recommending her to all of my family and friends. Linda, the hygienist is also wonderful, made me feel like I was part of the family, I look forward to going back (as crazy as that sounds!)
Sweet, knowledgable, caring and a great listener. I have sent three friends to her and they all have thanked me for referring them to Dr. Akbar. I smile a lot more since I went to see her and I love it.
