So I have to say honestly the doc and the staff were great as far as the work that was done. The only drawback for me is the pricing. This is basically a dental spa as the website explains it which means that you will pay a upcharge for coming there. She speciailizes in cosmetic dentistry so the responsibility to pay is gonna rely mainly on the patient. Nope! Many errors & ongoing problems with work done. Waiting many weeks for crowns to be made that cause gum issues. Too many other good dentists to settle for this one. Many have more updated equipment & much better response time.
I remember getting a composite filling here and despite following all the instructions to keep them as long as possible, my parents and I are out of over 2K. It didn’t even last up to year. We were told, “We didn’t know you have to wear the plastic right retainers” even though I had came to the office with them every appointment and they knew I had just gotten my braces removed. Dr. Akbar and staff are very courteous and professional. They provide excellent service and I would definitely recommend her to anyone who maybe in search of a dentist.
Great atmosphere! Doctor Akbar is very personable and kind. Lovely staff, it's like they know you so well the moment they talk to you on the phone. I would have made her do all the work for my teeth. Unfortunately, they are not a participating provider for my insurance. :(
I have been going to Dr. Akbar for many years for all my dental needs. She and her staff are always so caring and treat me like family. For someone who was deathly afraid of going to the dentist (because of a childhood experience), I actually look forward to my visits to see Dr. Akbar and her team. I can't imagine a better dental experience. They are the best in my book! GOH
