Dr Roy Sanders is a renowned Orthopedic trauma surgeon. I was extremely fortunate to be seen by Dr. Sanders after I experienced a failed tibia plateau surgery in New York. He took the time to explain what needed to be corrected and why. His surgical team at Tampa General were exceptional and they communicated with me every step of the way. Great visit. Dr Sanders is very likable and is a no non sense guy when it comes to what is going to happen. He also always seem to have these very nice and knowledgeable doctors shadowing him.

Dr. Sanders was very easy to talk with. He was very honest about length of recovery & what to expect if surgery is necessary. His wisdom & vast experience made him require not only x-rays but also a CT scan before coming to a conclusion. He suggested other options . He definitely will be my choice if surgery is the last resort.
The staff is always professional and friendly. Dr Sanders has a great attitude, happy to see me, and how good my new ankle was looking. I trust him and I’m sure I am with the best!
I developed serious arthritis in my ankle and was referred to Dr. Sanders. He suggested an ankle replacement vs. an ankle fusion. The surgery went very well, and after 8 weeks, I was able to walk and stand without pain, plus getting back to biking. Many, many thanks to Dr. Sanders and his team!
