Doctor was attentive, listened, and was very clear about diagnosis.
I have had both ankles replace by Dr. Sanders. My ankles are great. Even better is the fact that his follow up and aftercare has been even better.
I drove 5 hours to see Dr. Sanders, hoping his expertise could provide answers for my complex foot issues. Despite MRI results showing multiple ligament tears, tendinosis, and degeneration, he brushed off my concerns and performed a minimal exam. Dr. Sanders is an excellent surgeon and did a great job with my feet. I would recommend him to anyone needing foot or ankle surgery.
Forever grateful I found Dr. Sanders! He is truly the best of the best! After running out of options, I fortunately had one more: total ankle replacement. Barely saw Dr Sanders, saw a resident first and most. Sanders didn't want to know my complaints or concerns. He had his mind made up. Just wanted me to do some very basic ADL walking etc and was like I've got nothing for ya.... Also had to pay to get copy of my xray on CD, not even there! I had to request it and email and finally got it sent; oh yes incorrect.
I sincerely recommend Roy Sanders M.D. being an exceptional top orthopedic surgeon in his field of expertise with outstanding performances, realistic medical approach what his capabilities are to improve your quality-of-life situation. From the moment I entered the doctor's office I was treated exceptionally well by all levels of the staff I encountered.
