Both Dr Sanders and his resident were very empathetic and thoroughly explained the surgeon am going to need.
Dr. Sanders reconstructed my non union fracture of distal tibia and fibula when other doctors would not even try. I believe his dedication, knowledge and experience elevates him to a level other specialists should strive to emulate.
After surgery I had nerve complications and he was extremely arrogant and dismissive. He wouldn't even let me explain what was happening. I then showed him an EMG showing nerve compression and he wrote it off as me being nervous. Are you KIDDING ME? I don't care how amazing your surgery skills are, if your ego is so large that you cannot accept post-surgical complications YOU SHOULD NEVER BE ALLOWED TO DO SURGERY!!!!
His experience, confidence, and the way he does the procedure gave me all the confidence in the world.

He’s an honest straight shooter and very talented
Dr Sanders one of the top ankle surgeons in the country. He is however down to earth and personable. Sadly I had a tri malleolar fracture in 2023 and need more surgery. We are fortunate to have him in the Tampa community.
Almost no time waiting to see an internationally known and respected orthopedist. Cause of symptoms clearly discussed. Treatment (injection) provided. In and out (including X-rays) in just over an hour.
