Smooth, bold flavor - great atmosphere and fantastic baristas.
Rowster Coffee is part of what makes Grand Rapids so unique in the coffee/small business space -- they have great coffee and an awesome atmosphere with nice staff!
The overall look of the space is very clean and stark. I enjoyed the pour-over coffee that I had. The kombucha was very friendly, but not strong on the flavors and aspects of kombucha that I like. Also, the nitro cold brew was a little thin. Outside of those two small (and self-admitted nit picky) things, very nice place.
One day I was walking around the Wealthy Street area and noticed a simple sign which said "Coffee." I was intrigued. "Just coffee?" I wondered. Interesting. I went inside to check it out. "Pretty basic menu," I thought, "where are the lattes?" Tried the vanilla iced latte, and I can honestly say it changed my life, in the way your life is changed when you have to begin obsessively pursuing that ridiculously delicious flavor of coffee.
