Awesome Comfort food city!!! I loved it. Very Busy on the eyes. If you like antiques and 50s music a must!! The food was very good I had a shrimp appetizer I think it was the death burger can't remember but it had bacon coleslaw and onion rings on it omg.

My fiancé and I make it a point to visit Route 66 at least once during our annual visit to Ellsworth/Bar Harbor. We usually order the veggie burger (homemade) with fries, or one of the pasta dishes, and we haven't been disappointed. Last summer I also ordered a few blueberry mojitos, and they were delicious. The service has always been great here, and it is extremely well-priced considering the location in the heart of Bar Harbor. We love this place. :)

This place is adorable. One word comes to mind..gitchy. food was just ok. The nachos were bland and really not edible. We took three or four bites,then stopped. Our waitress was kind enough to not charge us on her own doing. The fries were a little cold and the lobster wrap was more of a blt wrap. They charge 17.95 because they add lobster to it,but there was more bacon and lettuce than anything.if they feel the tourists will accept that,not for long,but us locals who would be repeat customers won't come back which is a sham... read more
