The decor was a unique blend to go along with its unique history, from stained glass church windows to roadside diner to drive in movie there is something interesting everywhere you look. The food was great, the waitresses and staff were warm, friendly and eager to please. Overall, a great place for beer, fish&chips, salads and onion rings!

Great food & fun place to look at. Enjoyed educating my 12 year old granddaughter on all the memorabilia.

We were well cared for by our server, who was really pleasant, helpful an enthusiastic. Food was great. I had a burger, and my wife had the lobster quesadillas. Atmosphere is relaxed and pleasant. Enjoyed the memorabilia from the 50's and 60's. Nice place in a nice town. We will come back next time we're in Bar Harbor.
Definitely liked atmosphere and food was good �
The staff was immediately rude to my family and I was very upset. The decorations are unique, but make it cluttered. The floor was dirty and it took a long time to receive our food, despite the fact that the place was not very busy. If you're thinking about choosing this place over another one simply because the wait at a different one, id just wait. You'll be disappointed if you choose to eat at Route 66.
A fun place and put you back to the 50s with the decor and music. Great service and lobster roll was great but then what do you expect you are in Maine and what makes Maine great .LOBSTER Visiting from Ct
