I was excited when I heard we were returning here for a work retreat. My first time was so much fun regardless of the cold weather. This time we had some sun! The scenery is beautiful. The food is delicious! The staff are friendly and so accommodating! I shot a shotgun, rifle, and bow and arrow for the very first time. The trainers were very patient and helpful. Didn't make me feel foolish at all. Thank you, Rough Creek Lodge! The perfect getaway from the city!
The people here made all the difference. Yes, the accommodations are excellent, the food is wonderful and the setting idyllic. But it's the staff who made us feel welcome and cared for. Thank you Rachel, Travis, Jennifer, Becca, Carlos, Shelby and all the people in the dining room and in the kids activities!
Rough Creek Lodge has been a significant retreat for three generations of my family and we have introduced RC to others close to us, which now also have three generations enjoying the great experiences. If you like hunting, being outdoors, fine dinning and great experiences...Rough Creek Lodge is the place!!!
This place is nothing short of magical. We stayed here for our wedding night and I honestly felt as if every person working at RCL knew our names and that we had just been married. The food is top-notch. The rooms are breath taking. The only downside is that we have to go home today. Thank you to everyone at Rough Creek Lodge for making our special day into something we will never forget.
We loved it! From the bird hunt, activities, service, friendly folks and the serene setting, it can't be beat!
Beautiful.. Exciting very well put together... Need more picnic tables for the kids to eat on..instead of on the ground
They utterly spoiled us! From checking in to dinner service to the breakfast buffet. They have the best wait staff who are well trained in service etiquette. They are genuinely friendly to the Spartan race participants even though we tread mud into the resort. ���
Excellent, staff very friendly, food was great, room was tops, would definitely like to go again.
We've had a membership here for 12 years and just renewed again. It is our favorite escape and only an hour from our house!!!
