So I called Roto-Rooter to see if they could help me. They were able to come out the next day and fix the problem. Roto-Rooter Plumbers 5/12/2010 – I heard a loud bang come from my basement and found about an inch of water covering the ground. I called roto rooter and had a tech diagnose over the phone that the issue was a bad sump pump. I had them over the next morning to look in person and they found that, that was the case.
