Was excited by the new location- but that quickly swindled. First they gave a new menu - my favorite - cow boy taco is gone. So I asked about the cops and egg- was informed that it is just one chop - same price- even though the menu says two. We ordered Ross burgers- we were given the wrong ones and my wife's was ice cold and had to be sent back . Not impressed and a little sad .
I took the kids to Ross' Restaurant, Home of the "Magic Mountain" for breakfast Sunday morning.......NOT IMPRESSED. What makes you think that a 4 year old needs a $10 waffle? I understand you now have a bar, but if you don't want to be a family restaurant, please let us know before we order and we will be happy to take our business elsewhere. I should have known better when they couldn't "find" a kids menu. I understand moving to a new facility wasn't your idea, but don't take it out on us!

Hi Cathy Sams and thank you for your feedback, we apologize for being out of the kids menus on Sunday. Since the move to our new location, we are having the children's menus printed with a word search and activities and kiddos can color, but they are "one use only," and we have been so busy that we ran out. We now have some back up laminated copies just in case that happens again in the future and are also having larger numbers printed. We had the meatloaf, mashed potatoes with greenbean casserole. It was hot & delicious! Friendly & fast service!

So happy Ross has moved. The owner did a fantastic job fixing up the place. Food was great as usual and the staff was fantastic. Abundant seating and great decor. A quad city must eat!

Sad to hear you had to move out of the old Location. I grew up in Bettendorf. Even when we moved we would always try to go back atleast once a year & visit your Fine Restaurant. If I remember correctly some of your staff remembered us like we never even left!

I went to the new location today. Same great food and servers we knew. Still relaxed dining that makes you feel right at home. I was very glad to see that it still looked like Ross'. I thought that there seemed to be more space. My husband was glad to see the mural had made the move. Thanks for staying in business. Where else could I get such good food at a reasonable price.
