I've been going to rosedale my whole life... Since before the new building... I'm forty now and was outside of kc for ten years and the only thing I could think of was rosedale BBQ while I was gone. Thank you for not disappointing. As good as ever!!!

Excellent quality, taste, portions, and variety, one of Kansas City's best but overlooked by the moneyed folks in KC. An original serving the same area since the 1930's. MUST be doing something right.
Took my Dad out for dinner Saturday night. He has been going there since the mid 1940's. Food was great as always!!! Reasonably priced and quick service!!! Try the chili dog sometime, it's great as well.
I grew up on rosedale bbq. I have always loved their food especially the sauce. took some food to go for my family and some friends a few weeks back only to realize i was missing a beef sandwich. I had my receipt in hand and went back. I asked the red head gal if she had a beef sandwich that she missed in my order, she turned around and grabbed it off the counter. Not a sorry or thank you or a forgive me....nothing. she looked at me as if it was my fault and walked away. This place will no longer be in my top choices...sorry... read more
I go in here regularly and have never had such delayed service with such terrible outcome of food. Me and my whole shift usually eat here at least twice a month this was ridiculous! The bread on my sandwich was soggy not from heat or meat but from the sloppy way they prepped it In the packaging probably won't be back will just wait the 25 minutes at jack stack instead!
