Heard it was good bbq but waited 15 mins before the lady at the front acknowledged us and then got a very bad attitude and was extremely rude and untrained.... ended up not ordering and walking out go to, Woodyard you won’t get treated bad!

We went last night around 6 and they only had one lady working both sides of the counter and I have to she did a great job!!!! I applaud her for dealing with the massive amount of ppl , and the food was a really good I’ll definitely be back next time �
Of all the BBQ restaurants in Kansas City, Rosedale is one of my very favorites. I always order the same thing: the two meat dinner with three sides, all for about $10. Rosedale has great food, great service, and it looks exactly like a KC BBQ joint should look. They have been around since 1934, so they must be doing quite a few things right. They need to put one in South KC or Joco!
