I had a disappointing visit as a family member yesterday. While my father-in-law was being treated, I sat in the 2nd floor family lounge. Everything was great until lunch time for the employees when about half a dozen cane into the “family” lounge to watch TV, talk over their morning, and disturb the patient’s family members who were there. They were loud and disruptive. These nurses BASH AND TALK POORLY of MUSC. Does it get any more unprofessional than bad mouthing one of the top hospitals in the country?

The nurse insulted and name called the MUSC staff after I mentioned my surgery there years ago. Said they clearly don't know what they're doing. They couldn't be bothered to let me know my father got out of surgery so I got to sit and worry for 2 HOURS. I'd die in the streets right outside their hospital before I'd let these incompetent fucks touch me.
If you have to go to a hospital this has the best staff great experience
