Two years ago, I started having pain in my right hip. X-rays revealed I had bone on bone on needed a hip replacement surgery. Due to my father's passing and moving into my mother's home to care of her, with her advanced dementia, I was not able to have this surgery for two years. My hip was in really bad shape, however Dr. Hugate was able to perform a successful surgery on me with no complications. Dr. Hugate has a fabulous bedside manner in addition to his exceptional surgical skills. He was respectful, patient, and genuinely cares about his patients. I will heartily recommend him to others seeking a total hip replacement.
I was referred to Dr. Hugate by my doctor of over 27 years (who did my left hip replacement) because my right hip replacement was going to be a bit tricky. I was born with hip dyslexia so I have had hip issues my entire life. My first hip replacement (left) was when I was 24 (27 years ago) and my right hip was replaced at 51. No more suffering! Explained everything in detail. Not a worry after that. After day 4 did not need to take anything stronger than tylonal and Alieve. Been using a cane since day 11. Slight limp, and have to give my leg a little help lifting into the car. Feel great! Thank you is not enough!
