I'm currently going through the build process with them. Back in April I made my interior selections and provided the deposit for all options. Now I was told this was to ensure the availability of the selections. Mind you this was not the ******* money this was a separate check. Low and behold 7 months later I'm told the cabinets I had ordered are no longer available. After much back and forth they've told me they can't get those cabinets. If you value you your home and vehicles, DO NOT go with this company. I have been arguing back and forth regarding our driveway from this builder since the moment they installed and and the company does not care that they installed something that damages our vehicles. The driveway can only handle vehicles that are raised and not of standard height. This was pointed out during our initial walk through but the builder did not care stating there was nothing they could do. The driveway has caused a lot of damage regarding the bu... read more

We have lived in a Covington home for a year. We love the inside of our house and structurally everything is sound. However, we have had major issues with the external plot. Our backyard area didn’t drain properly and did flood often until the grading was finally fixed after multiple visits (4 months). Covington also had to rip out our side fence in March 2021 to fix an issue with a new build next door without informing us of their actions. My experience with Covington is very frustrating. I moved to my new built on May 16th 2021. There’s a lot/property that’s being worked on next to my house which has a pile of dirt that doesn’t let the rain water follow through its course therefore I have stagnant water on my backyard which is causing health hazards since there are mosquitos and other bugs around. Worst experience of our lives. Don’t go with Covington homes they are thieves and they do not build houses properly. There are many reasons we decided to utilize Covington Homes as our builder over the plethora of other home builders. The Covington team seemed very honest, helpful, friendly and the houses were beautiful. We initially spoke to Brian and Carrie in August of 2019 about timelines on houses being built.
