I love Roland's because it's in the heart of the Strip and it's fun and the drinks are good,but the food is mediocre and the service is horrible. Half of our table got their food a full 30 minutes be for the other half. Was there yesterday afternoon.

We go to Roland's every time we visit Pittsburgh, which is generally twice a year. We live in North Carolina. The lobster rolls are great, service is always spectacular.

This is best place in the burgh. We were there Saturday night. Great service the best food. Will be back soon�

Was there 12/26/16 with 3 other people at the bar and service was terrible . I asked the bartender 3 times for a menu and never got one. We also asked a server and still didn't get one. The bartender was overwhelmed and it was not super busy. There was a couple next to us that came in after us and had menus and food before we could even get a menu .I said something to one of the managers and all I got was he was sorry as we were walking out the door. Very disappointed!

Food was great. Lobster was fresh and lobster meat is big. I should give 5 stars But waiter was such. My table had French fried, and waiter came to ask order our drink. We ask him clean table, we help him move all salt and pepper shakers. But he just clean off only where French fried was. We eat, drink and drink. We ask him if he could take some our plates, he just took our glass and not happy about it. Never ask how our food was

I went for the famous lobster roll and while it was good, I guess I expected larger chunks of lobster and more buttery garlic goodness. Also, I'm not a fan of Mancini Bread -- it was too thick and overpowered the lobster itself. I got rid of one piece and just had an open faced sandwich which made it a lot better! The lobster bisque was delicious! The place itself is fun, it was crowded, and everyone was having a good time. To me that's the mark of a great casual restaurant.

The food was worthy of a 4 or even 5 stars. Service is the reason for the 3. We sat at the bar just having a quick bite and drink. Bartender gave us the drink menu Said he would be right back. Right after i asked my Co diner if he wanted to go somewhere else, since we've been sitting there 15 min waiting. He finaly came back. I could see if they were busy but we were two of six sitting at the bar.
