I got exactly what I paid for I needed a plumber on short notice due to my 6 year old putting a towel in the toilet. I paid a little extra but it was at 9pm so I expected to. I don't know what everyone else is whining about. If you want convenience you're gonna have to pay a little extra. Otherwise, wait 'til Monday!!! The plumber was friendly and clean and my problem was fixed asap.

Don't waste your $39.00 visit fee. Run the other way We needed our toilet reset and Roger the Plumber told me it would cost $500.00 to do. What a joke. Not only did this plumber try to rip me off, but he was extremely rude to me in the process. I actually told him that he shouldn't talk to me in my home so rudely and that he needed to work on his customer service skills. I was shaking while writing the check because I was so upset.I am a very reasonable person but felt like he was taking advatage of me because I was a female... read more

Decent Service, High Prices! We had a pipe burst in our basement and needed help right away. We didn't know of any plumbers so I went to the yellow pages and called Roger the Plumber's service. They were able to come out fairly quickly and helped to fix our pipe. They did an excellent job, were clean and professional but they stuck us with a huge bill! It was something we had to do, so I guess it was worth it.

Way too expensive! We called Roger the Plumber because of hearing the ads on the radio. The service was great but the prices were extremely high. We paid $2500 to have a toilet replaces, a faucet installed, and a faucet repaired in our shower. Every repair was more than $500. They kept encouraging us to repair more things and told us of things they would need to repair at a later date. The plumber was very nice and the service was excellent, but prices were ridiculous.

Way Over Priced Last year my parents water heater broke down and they called Roger the Plumber. They gave my parents an estimate of approx $1450 to replace the water heater with a new one. My father felt that this was too expensive and told the service person. The service person called the office and they knocked around $200 off for a senior service discount. My parents refused and called Home Depot who installed a new water heater for around $350-400. Learning of this story, I personally called Roger and discussed my feelin... read more

Good work, extremely high price I had a faucet freeze over the winter. Responding to Roger the Plumber's frequent radio advertisements and huge yellow page ad, I called them. They warned me that there was a charge to show up, and I accepted it because I needed it fixed asap. They came out and quickly fixed the problem. They insisted on using a silcock that cost more than 10x what a vanilla Home Depot part would cost. Since I already had to pay their fee to come to my house, I begrudgingly agreed to have them fix it. The pric... read more

Roger the RIPOFF This guy should be ashamed of himself. I have a friend who is a plumber and he has called around on prices to check his pricing. He always laughs when he gets the quote from Roger the Plumber. He is always 3.5 to 4 times higher than most plumbers. My mom used him once and paid out the nose because she is elderly and didn't know enough to ask questions and get quotes first. He charged her over $350 for bath tub fixtures. They were not Kohler or any designer fixtures, just plain cheap fixtures that run about $... read more
