Has done both of my hips and now 23 years later having to revise the first one he did due to wear and tear. He is awesome, highly recommend him, great communication, great bedside manner, explains everything thoroughly.
Dr . Emerson has replaced both hips and one knee for me. He was very informative and took a lot of time explaining options. All three surgeries went well with no problems and less pain and recuperation time. His post op visits are thorough and helpful. I have had three other doctors from other areas, and none have done the surgeries as well. I would gladly travel to have him do any other joint surgeries! He is an excellent physician!
It’s been seven years since I’ve had both knees replaced. Dr. Emerson changed my life. I can play tennis and walk 5+ miles and with no pain. I think of Dr Emerson all the time —truly a gifted doctor.

Dr. Emerson replaced both my knees and my right hip. I was able to go back to back after both my knee replacements. Retired before I needed hip replacement. He is an excellent surgeon, the very best.
