RecommendedWe followed Dr. Madden because she is incredible and has been our furbabies’ only doctor. She’s great with all of them...from our 8lb. senior kitty to our 100lb. 1 1/2 year old puppy. I highly recommend her. However, the office staff (the woman who answers the phone specifically)can be rude and the office currently has a policy in place that doesn’t allow you to accompany your baby when being examined, vaccinated, or treated for an injury. Dr. Madden has been seeing our 2 dogs for quite few years, & when she went to work at Rocky River Animal Hospital, we followed her there. She has always taken excellent care of our fur babies & goes that extra mile in their treatment. She always listens attentively & addresses all the issues. My cat was severely injured when Stanley Steemer came to clean my carpets; she was startled and jumped or fell from a 12 foot loft when they were cleaning a carpet in that room. Dr. Schlesinger was able to see us, spent much time with the cat, and determined her injuries were too severe for his expertise. He recommended the emergency vet, MedVet, and helped us make those arrangements where she had surgery the following day. Dr. Madden was very attentive and clearly listened to our questions . She spent a lot of time with us and made the visit very positive for our puppy ,Moose. We will continue to use Rocky River Animal Hospital for our pet's care.
I’ve been taking my pets there for over a decade. The staff is always very welcoming and the doctors are amazing. They are all empathetic and take their time with you while listening to your concerns!
Dr. Madden was such a breath of fresh air. She is so kind and so thorough during her exam. My dog loved her and she actually took the time to listen to our concerns. I definitely plan on keeping my dog under her care. As far as the staff, everyone was so kind! They treated us as if we were family. The clinic was very clean and bright! To say I am happy is an understatement. Thank you!!

Rocky River Animal Hospital shows they care from the minute we walk in until we leave. We have trusted the Dr.s and staff with our girls for 15 years and they are extremely knowledgable, compassionate and available to us. We would not think of going anywhere else.
I love everyone at Rocky River Animal Hospital. The staff are so caring and compassionate. Originally, I lived in Rocky River. Now, I live in Olmsted Falls. However, I travel the distance because no one takes care of my Ivy better. Thank you all for everything you do for my little "growler". You make her feel safe and comfortable.
