If youre looking for a new home builder that will overpromise and under deliver Rocklyn Homes is right for you. Once you are moved in misrepresentations and deceit from the company will likely be your experience as well. Not to mention the poor craftsmanship of the homes (cracks, plumbing issues early on etc) where the warranty is definitely too short to protect the buyer. The WORST home construction ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Water leakage, mold infestation, bedroom doors not aligned with door frames, cheaply made carpet, ceiling already have brown spots & OVER PRICED cheaply made "new" homes. These people are a nightmare! Do not buy any home from them!
Rocklyn Homes promises a great deal with their developments but they do no follow through with all of their promises. The Customer Service department is responsive and attempts to resolve issues withim the townhomes but the developer falls short of meeting expectations as far as community maintenance. The retention ponds have been left unclean; once the construction was completed they left the roads in disrepair; they never built the sidewalks indicated in their brochures; never installed any light poles in the community; an... read more
Bought my home in April 2020 and I was very impressed with the "upsell of a dream". My home is beautiful, but that is where the dream ends. Rocklyn promised a "carefully planned streetscape design with sidewalks, streetlights and beautiful common areas." My community in Stone Mill has no sidewalks other than the ONE walkway that is there from previous construction. Rocklyn had nothing to do with it! The few streetlights that are apart of my neighborhood were there long before Rocklyn arrived as well. These common areas are f... read more
I have been a resident of Stone Mill for 1 year now and there have been nothing but issues that they refuse to fix. Promises were made at the signing of my contract that were never fulfilled. Rocklyn is a fraud and takes advantage of lower socioeconomic persons but builds glamorous housing in more lucrative areas with pools, tennis courts, two car garages, parking pads, etc. Their customer service is horrible along with the HOA, Homeside. Had a column fall in front of my brand new house that was supposed to be secured. It was not done properly. Now It needs to be replaced and because the 'warranty' is past They refuse to fix it.
Business response:
The home has been closed for over 2 years, and the homeowner reported, outside of the warranty, that the damage occurred from a storm. While the home is no longer under coverage from Rocklyn Homes, the exterior portions of the home should be the responsibility of the HOA and we did refer the homeowner to reach out to the HOA for repair since it is no longer under warranty.

I have not been in my beautiful new home a month. My water pressure is dribbling, dishwasher doesn't work, hot water is subpar. I've put in 2 complaints with customer service. They don't react quickly enough to show I'm an important resident like they did before I closed on my house. Go figure! I'm still waiting on getting some resolution. ð??¡ð?¤¬

As that is not an emergency item, we scheduled an appointment with the plumber for this week on 11/6. You later called in about water pressure and were informed that the plumbers could assess that at the same appointment on 11/6.
